This Continental GT W12 represents a key moment in Bentley’s modern history. It was the first Continental built on the new MSB platform and marked a major step forward in performance, handling and technology over the previous generation. It also introduced the dual-clutch gearbox, giving the car a noticeably more modern, responsive feel while still retaining the effortless refinement expected of a Bentley grand tourer.

Under the bonnet sits Bentley’s iconic 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12, producing 626 bhp and 664 lb-ft of torque. With Bentley now having discontinued the W12 engine altogether, this model already feels like the end of an era. Performance is immense yet understated, with 0–62 mph in 3.7 seconds, near-silent cruising when required and a depth of character that the newer V8 and hybrid models simply don’t replicate.

Visually, this generation brought a complete redesign, with longer, wider and lower proportions, sharper detailing and a far more athletic stance, while still retaining the Continental’s trademark presence. Inside, the cabin took a major step forward too, with improved materials, a cleaner design and Bentley’s rotating centre display, giving a far more modern feel without losing any of the craftsmanship the marque is known for.
