The 992 generation moved the 911 on significantly, with a completely redesigned cabin and an extensively developed version of Porsche’s classic 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six. In Carrera 4S form it produces 443.7bhp, with all-wheel drive adding greater traction while preserving the rear-engined character central to the 911. It remains one of the most rounded models in the range, delivering serious performance alongside the usability expected of a modern 911.
With over £25,000-worth of options, this particular example develops all sides of the Carrera 4S’s character. The chassis has been given a more precise and responsive edge, with greater theatre from the powertrain. Meanwhile, inside, a glass sunroof and considered comfort specification ensure that extra focus has not come at the expense of day-to-day usability. The result is a Carrera 4S whose breadth feels deliberate. It has the hardware to exploit the 992’s performance more fully, yet remains easy to enjoy on ordinary roads and over distance.
For someone wanting a 911 to use often rather than reserve for isolated occasions, this is a coherent, well-equipped example with options accounting for how the car looks, drives and fits into everyday life.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY
- You can take slightly larger liberties exiting a corner with the 4S, without robbing the 911 of any of it's appeal. Normally I'd champion the rear wheel drive model but the 4S makes a hugely compelling argument, particularly as an everyday machine.
- Ridiculously fast and, in 4WD form, an incredibly stable 911, with the kind of integrity to its feel that suggests you could lap one for hours and its only complaint would be when it ran out of fuel.
- The fact you can use it every day, in comfort, with space and a good hifi, with no compromise and do miles efficiently, easily and simply while enjoying every single interaction with the car and getting this deep, deep satisfaction from it. Its everydayness is its superpower.
