    The 911 R is the darling amongst driving enthusiasts and none more so than the journalists as it has won pretty much every coveted magazine award going. With its fabulous manual gearbox, clever aerodynamics including a new diffuser to compensate for the lack of rear wing and the 4.0 litre naturally aspirated flat six lifted straight from the GT3 RS; the 911 R is truly the ultimate pure emotive modern 911. Unique features to the 911 R include carbon fibre front wings, 4.5kg of sound insulation that has been stripped, carbon ceramic brakes as standard and rear wheel steering. Another unique feature when compared with the GT3 RS is that the R does not feature the RS's side intakes or the massive rear wing. The 911 R is 50kg lighter than the RS and this car is optioned with the lightweight single mass flywheel which enhances the driving experience even further. Overall this 911 R offers a rare and beautifully specced example of the ultimate purists 911 to be driven, cherished and enjoyed.
