Model Overview

The Porsche 992.2 Carrera 4 GTS T-Hybrid represents one of the most significant shifts in the 911’s history. As part of the refreshed 992.2 generation, it is the first road-going 911 to feature a hybrid powertrain, marking the beginning of a new era for Porsche’s most iconic model. Rather than chasing emissions-led efficiency or electric-only driving, Porsche has engineered the T-Hybrid system with one clear objective: to make the 911 GTS faster, sharper and more responsive than ever before.

At its heart is a newly developed 3.6-litre flat-six, paired with a compact electric motor integrated into the PDK gearbox and an electrically assisted turbocharger to virtually eliminate lag. The system is designed to deliver instant throttle response and enhanced acceleration, adding meaningful performance without the weight penalty or character dilution associated with conventional hybrids. With a total system output of over 530 bhp, 0–62 mph in around 3.0 seconds and a top speed approaching 194 mph, the Carrera 4 GTS remains every bit a true 911, just with a new layer of performance technology beneath the surface.

What makes the 992.2 GTS particularly compelling is its position in the 911 lineage. It bridges the gap between the analogue past and an increasingly electrified future, combining all-wheel drive security and everyday usability with cutting-edge hybrid performance.
