Limited to 499 examples, the 458 Speciale A came as the open-top conclusion to Ferrari’s naturally aspirated V8 Special Series era. It paired the Speciale’s 4.5-litre V8, producing 597 bhp at 9,000 rpm, with an aluminium retractable hardtop. Active aerodynamics and Side Slip Angle Control carried over from the coupé, while, despite a weight increase of just 50 kg, the Speciale A matched its 3.0-second 0–62 mph time and 1:23.5 Fiorano lap time.

This particular example is finished in special triple-layer Giallo Triplo Strato with a Blu Nart Racing Livery. This is contrasted by an extensive exterior carbon-fibre specification across the body, while large ‘Style’ Carbon Fibre Racing Seats continue the lightweight treatment inside. Alcantara Nera with Giallo seat and headliner centre sections creates a clear link between the cabin and exterior, with a Front Suspension Lift further strengthening the factory specification.

With only 49 right-hand drives examples believed to be built, the Speciale A occupies a particularly rare position in the marque’s modern history. This car is presented in its classic colourway, carefully carried through to the Nero and Giallo cabin. With Ferrari's factory-supplied Complete Protective Film Kit, suspension lifter and extensive carbon fibre, it is an incredibly complete example of one of Maranello’s greatest Special Series models.
