The Mercedes GLS is known for its luxury features including its 7-seats and plush interior. This is no different once the AMG badge has been applied, the opulence remains with the practicality of 3-rows and an extremely comfortable interior. What the AMG badge does do however, is mount the 4.0L twin-turbo V8 up front and mate it to a mild-hybrid system and 9-speed gearbox. This drivetrain boosts the already powerful engine, thanks to the hybrid system which also provides greater efficiency. All this leads to a 0-62mph time of 4.2 seconds – very impressive for a 7-seater of such large dimensions.

The bodywork has been designed in typical AMG fashion with the large slatted front grille and large front bumper intakes. This example is the Night Edition Executive which adds desirable features such as the AMG Carbon Fibre Trim, AMG Driver’s Package and black trim to the exterior.
