Model Overview

The 1997 McLaren F1 GTR 'Longtail' was the ultimate evolution of the Le Mans-winning F1 GTR. Almost two decades on, the limited-edition 675LT Coupe and 675LT Spider follows it's uncompromising ethos to create a visceral driving experience of unique intensity. More power, less weight and more precision; the 675LT features an obsessive weight-saving strategy that unlocks a further 100kg reduction compared with the 650S.

This 100kg weight saving accomplishment is thanks to the car's new race inspired front splitter, bumpers, carbon fibre bonnet, redesigned rear fenders, rear deck and the distinctive rear 'longtail' airbrake. The striking carbon fibre bodywork increases downforce by an astonishing 40 percent over any other model in the Super Series. From the phenomenal sounding new titanium exhaust, lightweight carbon fibre racing seats and to the 1mm thinner windscreen; no opportunity to save weight has been overlooked. Finally, ultra-lightweight forged alloy wheels, Pirelli P-ZERO Trofeo R tyres, carbon ceramic brakes and an uprated suspension system that embraces technology from the McLaren P1 also contribute to the radical specification.

Performance is similarly striking. The re-engineered M838TL V8 twin-turbocharged engine found in the 12C, 650S P1 and 570S produces 675PS (666bhp) and 700NM (516lb ft of torque). These are increases of 25PS (25bhp) and 22NM (16lb ft of torque) from the 650S and the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox is now twice as fast. 0-62 mph is dealt within 2.9 seconds and the car will reach a top speed of 205 mph.

With 500 Coupes and 500 Spiders worldwide, we are pleased to have sold a lot of both variants here at Romans International. Nicknamed the baby P1, the 675LT is certainly one of our current favourite supercars as it offers a pure raw scintillating driving experience similar to it's bigger brother the P1.
