Mid-mounting the naturally aspirated 4.0L Flat-Six into the 718 chassis has been touted as a match made in heaven creating one of the purest and most enjoyable driving experiences on the market today. The shorter wheelbase and lighter stature of the 718 makes for an altogether nippier and more fleet-footed drive than some of it's heavier siblings. Whilst the GT4 remains the top of the range, the GTS finds a sweet spot which makes it better suited for road use than the GT4 and is arguably one of the finest mainstream cars Porsche have ever made.
