The second generation Audi R8 was redesigned from the ground up as it aimed to build on the original R8's success. This was no mean feat as it's predecessor was heralded by many experts as one of the finest sports cars ever made. The R8 is now only available with the naturally aspirated V10 engine derived from the Lamborghini Huracan, whilst there is no manual gearbox anymore with Audi confident that the car is best suited to it’s super slick shifting S-Tronic transmission.
