The Ferrari Portofino, named after the picturesque Italian Riviera town, marked a significant evolution of Ferrariās front-engined GT philosophy when it replaced the California. Blending elegance and performance in equal measure, the Portofino introduced a lighter, stiffer chassis and a refined version of Ferrariās 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8, producing close to 600bhp. The result is a convertible GT capable of 0ā62mph in just 3.5 seconds and a top speed approaching 200mph, with a retractable hardtop that transforms the car from coupe to open-top in just 14 seconds at speeds of up to 30mph.
Designed to be as comfortable on long journeys as it is thrilling on mountain roads, the Portofino remains one of the most versatile Ferraris of recent years. With features such as Magneride adaptive suspension, a simplified 3-mode Manettino, and light, responsive electronic power steering, it offers a rare blend of everyday usability and unmistakable Ferrari emotion - a car that delivers grand touring comfort without ever losing its sporting soul.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY
- Of all Ferraris, the Portofino is by far the most usable. A deeply desirable and muscular roadster.
- The beauty of it is that there's no pressure to drive like a nutter in it. That's not always true in other Ferraris.
- The Portofino boasts a complete vocal range transforming from a purposeful bark at low engine speeds, into a full on wail as the revs rise.
