The 10 Best Supercar Collectors to Follow on Instagram

  • The 10 Best Supercar Collectors to Follow on Instagram

Instagram is one of the modern phenomena of recent times. Worth over $100 billion, it is a platform that has become more than just posting pictures. For some individuals, it’s now a way of life and for many businesses; a huge percentage of their marketing strategy. Being able to keep up to date with your friends, celebrities and favourite sports people makes you feel closer to them and more involved in their journey which is one of this platform’s biggest achievements.

Romans International adopted Instagram in January 2013 and ever since it’s been a great way for us to keep in touch with our followers and customers. The car scene on Instagram has exploded in the last few years especially with automotive pages and more recently supercar collectors creating their very own pages. Moreover, followers can now get an insight into real supercar ownership with some collectors going as far as writing blogs, creating videos for Instagram TV (IGTV); all in the help of trying to portray their ownership experience and passion for their exquisite cars.

Car manufacturers are now aware of this and are using it to their advantage as famously, one of Ford’s requirements for customers to be considered a build slot for the new Ford GT was if you had a good social media following. Through Instagram, some car collectors are now seen as influencers, with manufacturer’s inviting them to events and sending them press cars to review and share to their followers. Here is our top ten list of the best car collectors on Instagram.

10: The Car Guys TV

With only 50 RHD UK examples, the TDF is one of the most desirable supercars and one of the hardest to come by. In 2015, the carguys.tv got invited by Ferrari to purchase and spec their very own 458 Speciale Aperta and collected it from Ferrari’s Maranello factory in Italy. They then drove it back through Italy, Switzerland and France and brought it back to the UK. The list of fantastic supercars in their collection continues with the rare manual gearbox Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni edition, Lamborghini Huracan Performante, one of 46 worldwide Light Car Company Rocket, Porsche 911 GT3 Touring, Porsche 911 Supersport Targa, Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera, our recently sold Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe, Original Honda NSX and a Honda Prelude VTEC.
