Video Walkaround
The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the most extreme and focused version of the 718 platform, combining the compact dimensions and mid-engined balance of the Cayman with an engine closely related to that found in the 911 GT3. Producing 500 PS and revving to 9,000 rpm, the naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six transforms the character of the GT4, with the distinctive air intakes positioned directly behind the occupants creating one of the most dramatic soundtracks of any modern Porsche.
Beyond the engine, the GT4 RS receives extensive aerodynamic and chassis upgrades, including a swan-neck rear wing, revised front aero, increased downforce and significant weight saving throughout. Cars equipped with the optional Weissach Package gain further exposed carbon fibre elements and additional lightweight detailing, reinforcing the RS’s motorsport-inspired character.
The result is a Cayman unlike any before it: faster, sharper and considerably more intense than the GT4, while retaining the balance and agility that has always defined Porsche’s mid-engined sports car. Widely regarded as one of the standout modern Porsche GT models, the GT4 RS represents the ultimate development of the combustion-engined 718 Cayman.
