Model Overview

The McLaren 765LT is far more than just the track-focused evolution of the 720S - it’s the latest chapter in one of McLaren’s most exclusive bloodlines. Inspired by the legendary F1 GTR Longtail - a Le Mans winner of which just 10 examples were built - the LT name is reserved only for McLaren’s most extreme road cars. Following in the footsteps of the 675LT and 600LT, the 765LT delivers a purist driving experience with enhanced power, aggressive weight-saving, and race-derived engineering. Just 765 coupés and 765 Spiders were built globally, with surprisingly few available in the UK, making this one of the rarest and most sought-after modern McLarens.

Performance is staggering: 755bhp, 0–62mph in 2.8 seconds, and an obsessive focus on weight reduction, including a polycarbonate rear window, carbon fibre components, and a quad-exit titanium exhaust that defines its presence and sound. Key components from the McLaren Senna including brake calipers and forged pistons underscore its serious intent. Visually, the 765LT is sculpted for aerodynamic efficiency and dramatic effect, with every curve and vent designed to serve function as much as form.

For collectors, the 765LT is a future classic - an ultra-limited, motorsport-inspired Longtail that honours McLaren’s racing heritage while offering one of the most visceral driving experiences available today.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY

  • It’s ferocious. Not just fast, but properly, heart-in-mouth aggressive… the kind of car that demands total commitment from its driver.
    Top Gear
  • It pins your eyes wide open. The combination of outrageous speed and constant information through the steering, chassis and seat of your pants not only means the 765LT feels alive, but that the sensory bombardment can get close to overload.
    Top Gear
  • Imagine taking an incredibly fast McLaren supercar and making it even faster and more hard-edged. That’s the 765 LT — taking the bones of the 720s and 750S and taking out weight, adding power, and making it even more ferocious.
