The latest Range Rover features a whole host of upgrades and updates being the first proper facelift since the inception of the fourth generation Range Rover in 2012. The new front grille is going to be the most obvious way of distinguishing it from the old model, but the majority of changes are on the inside. The new dual screen infotainment system is highly immersive, whilst there are new 24-way electrically adjustable seats up front. In terms of the rear seating configuration, Range Rover have introduced a rather ingenious solution with a party piece, electrically deployable central armrest. This enables rear occupants to seemless switch between a 4-seat set up and a 5-seat arrangement.
The Range Rover is now even more tech friendly with over 17 connection points for USB / HDMI and a 4G WiFi hotspot for up to 8 devices. It even features a wrist mounted 'activity key' and a gesture-controlled sunblind. Luxury is at the top of the agenda when in the opulent Autobiography spec and this car is all about the wonderful sense of serene detachment from the noise, stress and bustle of the outside world. The Range Rover is still the benchmark for luxury SUVs and despite the rising number of expensive rivals, none can quite match it's versatility as a fantastic off-roader with excellent towing power and striking just the right balance of upmarket style and road presence which is what makes it so popular around the world.
