Founded by Drew Bowler in 1985, Bowler has grown over the last three decades to become one of the best aftermarket companies designing and manufacturing 4x4 rally cars based on the Land Rover Defender and Range Rover chassis for events such as the Dakar Rally. They also specialise in modifying road going Defenders to the highest level and this example is no exception.

Since the end of production for the Defender prices have increased dramatically, such is the demand for these vehicles. With a no-nonsense approach in both it’s styling and engineering this ionic car has always been a huge hit in the countryside and more recently become a rugged status symbol car much like the G-Wagon from Mercedes. The Land Rover Defender is the most closely related to the original 1948 Series Land Rovers that started the entire brand and are still hugely capable, rugged and durable off-road vehicles.
