The Ferrari Roma Spider combines the elegant, understated styling of the Roma with the added appeal of open-top driving. Its flowing proportions, sculpted bodywork and fabric roof give it a more timeless character than many modern convertibles, while retaining the clean and sophisticated design language that made the Roma so distinctive.
Powered by Ferrari’s 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8, the Roma Spider produces 612bhp and sends its power through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Performance remains firmly in supercar territory, but the Roma’s refined ride, sophisticated cabin and relaxed character make it equally suited to longer journeys and everyday driving.
Importantly, the Roma Spider is far more than simply a Roma with its roof removed. It features a specially developed chassis, redesigned rear body structure and Ferrari’s first fabric soft-top on a front-engined model since the 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider. The roof can be operated in just 13.5 seconds at speeds of up to 37mph, making the Roma Spider one of the most stylish and usable open-top Ferraris of the modern era.
