Named after the picturesque village on the Italian Riviera, the Ferrari Portofino is the brandās elegant 2+2 hardtop convertible, and the Modificata āMā update brings meaningful improvements across performance and drivability. Its 3.9L twin-turbo V8 now produces 612bhp, up from 592bhp, cutting the 0ā62mph time to 3.45 seconds. The switch to an eight-speed gearbox delivers smoother shifts, sharper acceleration through shorter lower gears, and improved efficiency when cruising - making the Portofino M feel both quicker and more refined than its predecessor.Ā
Ferrari has also added Race mode, unlocking a more dynamic character through advanced Slide Slip Control for enhanced precision and confidence. Yet the Portofino M remains a road-focused GT at heart; select Comfort mode and the suspension softens for relaxed, everyday usability, especially when paired with the optional Magneride system. The result is a convertible Ferrari that blends open-top drama and V8 excitement with genuine day-to-day practicality and long-distance comfort.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY
- The Portofino M is a better car than the standard Portofino in pretty much all of the key aspects. Itās better to drive, more efficient, contains more tech and yet retains the gentler abilities that appeal to people who want their Ferrari to be a daily driver, rather than a weekend warrior.
- The Portofino M represents a solid, if subtle step over the previous car in all the right areas. Rather than sacrificing comfort for dynamics, Ferrari has focused on refinement and left its two-seatersā grand tourer credentials intact.
- Ferrari's entry-level open-top GT finally found its sweet spot in M-spec; more engaging than a Bentley, more refined than a 911 Turbo, there's little not to like.
