The Ferrari Portofino takes its name from the picturesque Italian Riviera village and serves as Ferrari’s entry point into the brand’s grand touring lineup, succeeding the California. Built around a lightweight aluminium chassis, it pairs reduced weight with a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 producing around 600bhp, delivering 0–62mph in approximately 3.5 seconds and a top speed close to 200mph. Its retractable hardtop can be operated at speeds of up to 30mph and folds away in around 14 seconds, allowing the Portofino to switch seamlessly between coupe and convertible while maintaining strong cabin refinement and comfort.
Positioned as one of Ferrari’s most versatile models, the Portofino blends everyday usability with performance. Features such as adaptive suspension (including optional Magneride), a user-friendly Manettino drive mode selector, and responsive electric power steering ensure it is equally at home in city driving as it is on open roads, offering a balance of comfort, control, and unmistakable Ferrari character.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY
- Of all Ferraris, the Portofino is by far the most usable. A deeply desirable and muscular roadster.
- The beauty of it is that there's no pressure to drive like a nutter in it. That's not always true in other Ferraris.
- The Portofino boasts a complete vocal range transforming from a purposeful bark at low engine speeds, into a full on wail as the revs rise.
