Sitting as one of the first SUV/Coupe crossovers to hit the market, the BMW X6 has been a staple in its segment for over 15 years. Sporting a slick roofline, the well-loved and now very familiar interior, multiple engine options and plentiful updates and facelifts over the years, it's safe to say that the X6 is now a car that must be considered if you're in the market for a fast, practical and stylish crossover. 

The M50i variant of the X6 brings with it a turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 engine, delivering a healthy 523bhp and propelling the X6 to 62mph in a very impressive 4.3 seconds. The M50i, as well as most other variants of the X6, boasts the latest and greatest BMW interior, which includes a plethora of ultra-high quality leather and robust buttons and dials, solidifying its German origin. There's also a spacious boot and plenty of leg room as is to be expected from a BMW family car. 

While there is scepticism from some when regarding the looks of the X6, there's no denying that it looks totally fit for purpose. Its aggressive grilles and lights, along with sharp, performance focused lines throughout give it a menacing look that BMW fanatics have come to expect from their more capable variants. The sloping roofline only adds to this, and what comes with a slight reduction in practicality is a sporty and pleasing overall design.
