Model Overview

The BAC Mono is a single-seater supercar that pushes the boundaries of lightweight performance engineering. Powered by a 2.5-litre Mountune four-cylinder engine producing 305 bhp, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 170 mph. Weighing only 580 kg, it boasts an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 526 bhp per tonne. The chassis has been widened to provide an additional 56 mm of cockpit space, enhancing driver comfort without compromising the car's aerodynamic efficiency.

Each Mono is tailored to its owner, featuring a bespoke driving position with a custom-fitted seat and steering wheel. With its combination of cutting-edge technology, bespoke craftsmanship, and exhilarating performance, the BAC Mono stands as a testament to the pursuit of automotive excellence.

The BAC Mono One is a final-edition celebration of the original, road‑legal, single-seat super‑car - a nod to pure driving passion and a fitting farewell to BAC’s first-generation Mono. Only three examples were ever built, each painted in one of BAC’s signature colours: Iconic White, Carbon Black, or Neon Red - with exposed carbon‑fibre lower panels and bespoke carbon-hybrid wheels.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY

  • Being sat square in the middle of the car, feeling all the components and elements working harmoniously, the sense of solidity that surrounds you. If you want something that’s focused on driving to the exception of everything else – and yet rewards on so many levels – look no further.
    Top Gear
  • The BAC Mono: a futuristic single-seat supercar that looks like a formula racing car and goes like one too.
    Car Magazine
  • It rides bumps like a Lotus, the steering is pinpoint-precise and wriggles with feedback and the car changes direction like nothing else. The Mono isn’t a downforce car, but such is the mechanical grip it feels like one.
