Created by Q by Aston Martin to celebrate the release of No Time To Die, the Vantage 007 Edition is one of the most distinctive and collectible versions of this generation. Limited to just 100 examples worldwide, it draws inspiration from the gadget-laden Aston Martin V8 driven by Timothy Dalton’s James Bond in the 1987 film The Living Daylights. Most memorably, the car could be specified with a bespoke roof-mounted ski rack and a set of limited-edition skis, recreating the unmistakable “winterised” appearance of Bond’s original film car.
Every example was finished in authentic Cumberland Grey and features a bespoke mesh grille with a chrome bezel inspired by the classic Aston Martin V8. Further exterior details include a dashed yellow accent across the rear diffuser, referencing the hazard markings surrounding the film car’s rocket system, together with unique Vantage side-strake badging. Combined with the skis mounted above the roofline, these carefully considered details make the 007 Edition instantly recognisable while avoiding the feel of a conventional badge-led special edition.
Inside, Obsidian Black leather is paired with dark chrome trim, heritage-style seat fluting, carbon fibre seat backs and embroidered detailing inspired by the cello chase scene from The Living Daylights. The Russian police radio frequency is stitched into the sun visors, while a laser-etched gadget plaque depicts the weapons and devices fitted to Bond’s original car. These details transform the 007 Edition into far more than a cosmetic special, combining the modern Vantage with one of the most memorable Aston Martins ever to appear on screen.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY
- It can perform at close to supercar pace and now has fully formed track handling credentials, but it is also more characterful and fun at everyday speeds than plenty of its opponents.
- The ride exhibits a welcome comfort even on pockmarked roads, while the slick eight-speed box shuffles through its ratios pretty seamlessly.
- It sounds a little subdued in Sport, but switch to Sport+ or Race and the V8’s sonic potential is uncorked. The changes to induction and exhaust deliver a richer, more cultured soundtrack than the bombastic NASCAR bellow you get with this engine in a Mercedes.
