The Porsche Taycan, which translates to 'Spirited Young Horse’ in Turkish, is Porsche's first fully electric vehicle after the highly praised Mission E concept. The Taycan offers a sleek, elegant and futuristic design in appearance, in keeping with other Porsche model features and harnesses technologies from the Le Mans-winning 919 race car, which becomes evident in the performance data.
The Sport Turismo model offers up a sleek package of spaciousness coupled with a sporty design. The flexibility of being an out-right point to point weapon and transporting the family around. Headroom at the rear is increased due to the raised roof line, which gives the silhouette of a sensible and sedate estate. However, the Turbo S really comes alive when the steering wheel dial is turned to Sport or Sport Plus which unleashes the huge 751 bhp. The interior is treated to an abundance of Race-Tex finishes which adds a sporty but still comfortable feel to the interior.
"A very comprehensive electric performance car. Effortless point-to-point pace. " - What Car
"The Taycan Sport Turismo is arguably the best you can choose – even if Tesla wants you to think otherwise." - Car Wow
"The Taycan GTS is the best EV yet in both saloon and Sport Turismo forms. Porsche has gone some way to cracking electric performance car enigma." - EVO
