The GT3 RS has long been touted as one of the ultimate road-legal track cars offering huge levels of performance and driver involvement to appeal to even the most hardcore of enthusiasts but what is so amazing is how Porsche keep on improving the car. Now in it's second generation of the 991 Series, the GT3 RS holds the ace card of having the most powerful naturally aspirated flat-six engine in the line up and remains Porsche's most track-focused road car.
The biggest changes on the new RS are to the chassis and the aerodynamics with stiffer suspension and increased downforce ensuring the GT3 RS is set up more like a race car than ever before. This enables the car to have a much sharper response and increased feel helping the car to lap the Nurburgring just 9 seconds shy of the GT2 RS which has 177bhp more. With quite possibly the finest engine on the planet the new GT3 RS is a sensation to drive with bundles of character, perfected for the track but hugely capable on the road it is one of the most exciting cars money can buy.
