Bond's DB5 on show at Beaulieu

Aston Martin has long been synonymous with 007, and the world’s favourite spy is currently the subject of a new exhibition chronicling all the favourite vehicles from the Bond series at the Beaulieu National Motor Museum.

Celebrating 50 years since the release of the first James Bond film, Dr. No, the milestone event (dubbed Bond in Motion) features exactly 50 cars, boats, planes and even a weapon-loaded surfboard – all of which have been used in the much-loved movies.

Unsurprisingly, Aston Martin is particularly well represented in this display, with no less than seven vehicles on show. One of these is the legendary DB5, which was first seen in Goldfinger and is widely regarded as being the classic James Bond car. There are also several other, more recent, models. These include a V12 Vanquish, a V8 Volante from 1984, a stunt car from 2006, and a DBS that made an appearance in the latest Bond film, Quantum of Solace.

If you are impressed with the quality and style of the cars at Bond in Motion, but are looking for a more sedate driving experience, visit the Romans International showroom in Surrey and browse the great selection of used Aston Martin models on offer.
