The 911 T offers a stripped-back more driver-focused version of the base Carrera, which really focuses in on driver engagement, enjoyment and ultimately value for money. Weight saving was the first thing on Porsche’s checklist so out went the rear seats and the infotainment system (both optionally replaceable), sound deadening was reduced to a minimum and the thinner rear window and rear side windows from the GT2 RS project were borrowed. Although the Carrera T originally listed at more than the standard Carrera, Porsche threw in a healthy list of desirable options “on the house”, many of which you simply could not specify on the standard Carrera. These included a limited-slip differential, PASM Adaptive Sports Suspension (20mm Lower), Sport Chrono Package & Sports Exhaust System.
