The Ford F150 is the world's best selling car, thanks mostly to its huge popularity in America but it's remained unavailable to order in the UK with Ford deeming it unsuitable for the English roads. Instead the UK has the option to order the smaller and less imposing Ford Ranger which means any F150's for sale in the UK have likely had to be imported from the US. Whilst there are a few variants of the F150, it's the Raptor variant which has long been considered the most desirable and now in it's 3rd generation the F150 Raptor has the performance to match it's undeniable road presence. Under the hood is a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 EcoBoost engine, which, alongside a 10-speed automatic transmission, helps shift the truck from 0-62 in an impressive 5.1 seconds.
The Supercrew variant is theĀ even larger version of the Raptor weighing in at approximately 2.5Ā tonnes and sporting the dimensions of a small building. The Supercrew variant allows all 4 doors to be opened in the same direction, unlike the Supercab variant in which the smaller rear doors open backwards, and the Supercrew also provides much more leg room for rear passengers. Despite clearlyĀ being built to be an off-roader the comfortableĀ and spacious interior also makes it an ideal cruiser with all theĀ added pick-up truck practicality. Whilst Ford clearly don't see the F150 Raptor being a great seller in the UK, it makes for a super rare and an exciting proposition on the market over here, and a great alternative to the modern supercars as a real head turner.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY
- This isnāt just any F-150. Itās the F-150 GT3, although Ford prefers to call it the Raptor. Completely overhauled and re-engineered, given much more power and kitted out with trick suspension components it has all the single-minded purpose of a 911 GT3, only for a very different sort of task.
- Oversized or not, the Raptor is an absolute hoot. The simple joy of the Raptor is that thereās absolutely nothing sensible about it, thus providing total liberation from even attempting to rationalise its presence.
- Simply put, the F-150 Raptor lives up to the hype. It's an impressive all-around off-roader, which helped it win the 2021 Four Wheeler Pickup Truck of the Year award.
