Introducing the Ferrari Purosangue, the first 4-door Ferrari ever produced and the most exciting addition to the SUV sector in many years. Ferrari have raised the bar for what a 4-door is capable of with what can only be perceived as outrageous performance bringing the Ferrari DNA to to this market for the very first time. Powered by a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12, with 715bhp, it has supercar-like performance, doing 0-62mph in just 3.3 seconds.
The four-wheel-drive system is operational from 1st to 4th gears, but from 5th to 8th the Purosangue is purely rear-driven, keeping to what has mainly been the RWD Ferrari tradition. Ferrari have introduced a brand new active suspension system which has been praised by journalists for allowing the Purosangue to handle and feel like a proper Ferrari but with the comfort of a GT car. There is also a new partnership with Burmester to create a 21 speaker surround sound system which is standard-fit and there are new options available previously unavailable on a Ferrari such as an electrochromic panoramic roof and massage seats.
Whilst many of it's SUV rivals can point to parent companies to supply parts and performance, the Purosangue is a true Ferrari original and with it's name translating to 'Pure Blood' you can see Ferrari's intentions were to make this a thoroughbred Ferrari which keeps to it's roots but also increases the success and evolution of this iconic brand.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY
- The Purosangue is also one of the most exciting four-door, four-seat cars ever. It sets new standards for a vehicle of this type, offering the pace and dynamic clarity of a full-blown supercar car on one hand (well, almost) with much of an SUV’s practicality on the other.
- The Purosangue offers something that Ferrari buyers have thus far been unable to access: a genuine daily Ferrari.
- The design is elegant and beautifully executed. The Purosangue feels expensive. And bespoke.
