Model Overview
The Ferrari Purosangue marks a bold new chapter for Maranello, becoming the brand’s first-ever four-door, four-seater production vehicle. While it technically enters the SUV category, Ferrari avoids the label entirely preferring to define the Purosangue as a unique blend of sports car performance and GT practicality. Built on an all-new platform designed from the ground up, it maintains Ferrari’s core values by offering a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, mounted mid-front for ideal weight distribution. With 715bhp, a redline of 8,250rpm and power sent through an intelligent all-wheel drive system, the Purosangue delivers the sort of pace and character more akin to a GTC4Lusso or 812 Superfast than a traditional SUV.
Despite its elevated ride height and usable rear seating, the Purosangue is packed with cutting-edge tech, including a new active suspension system, rear-wheel steering and a dual-screen interior layout that forgoes a central infotainment screen entirely. Suicide-style rear doors allow easier access to the rear seats while maintaining sleek proportions. As expected, demand has been overwhelming, and Ferrari has already closed the order books for many markets due to limited allocations. Whether viewed as a daily-drivable Ferrari or the most exotic ultra-luxury crossover available, the Purosangue has redefined what an SUV can be without compromising the brand’s DNA.
