The New 2012 Aston Martin Vantage Range

This week, the luxury English car manufacturer has just announced the new 2012 Aston Martin Vantage Range for 2012, with some exciting developments and improvements in store for buyers.

Styling changes for this year’s new Vantage models are relatively minor and subtle, but will include a revised front bumper, with a new diffuser at the rear.

The V8 Vantage still retains its 420hp – 4.2litre V8 for 2012, but for the transmission Aston Martin has upgraded the car’s six-speed Sportshift automated manual transmission to its latest 7 speed Sportshift II gearbox. Aston Martin made this change as they say the new transmission delivers faster and more precise shifts, which will equate into improved performance. The braking system has also been upgraded, so stopping power is now significantly better.

The Vantage S model still remains the most generously equipped, best performing and totally driver-focused V8-engined model in the range.
