The German manufacturer of luxury cars Porsche has just opened a special exhibition, entitled the “911 Identity” at their renowned company Museum in Stuttgart, Germany. The exhibition follow the journey of the Porsche 911 from its development and introduction in 1963 across four decades, right up to the current day and the recent launch of the new 911 (the Type 991). The Porsche 911 is one of the biggest success stories in the luxury sports car world, which has seen more than 700,000 911s being produced since the esteemed cars’ release.

At this special exhibition you will be able to see all seven of the Porsche 911 generations, as it will chart the long and successful life of one of the worlds most loved sports cars. You will be able to see a huge range of various models and even rare examples like the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 “Safari” and Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid car, which utilises hybrid technology.
