Special Edition Ferrari 458 Italia bound for China

A Ferrari represents the epitome of performance luxury cars, but in China it stands as a symbol of status, wealth and success. It was only twenty years ago when a Chinese businessman based in Beijing ordered the very first Ferrari, a Ferrari 348TS.

To mark this occasion and inspired by the 2012 Year of the Dragon, Ferrari has decided to produce a very limited production of the Ferrari 458 Italia to mark the anniversary, producing just 20 models. Based around the hugely successful 458, the cars will come in a brand new exclusive paint livery called ‘Marco Polo Red’.

Along with the new paint scheme the new models will feature a range of special gold imagery reflecting on dragon-horse theme, whilst paying homage to Chinese culture. There is golden embroidery throughout the cockpit, with start button accompanied with 20 stars, in addition to the unique 20th Anniversary Edition dash plaque to signify the special model. Outside the car features a unique black & gold graphics depicting a golden dragon, this is topped off with a set of special gold coloured alloy wheels. Currently there is no news of the price tag for this special Ferrari.
