This week saw the announcement that the Porsche Panamera has won a European Car Award for the second time in a row. The Stuttgart based German manufacturer of luxury cars has just picked up the top Internet Auto Award in the higher and luxury classes, as users of website AutoScout24 gave top place to the Porsches 4-door luxury Gran Turismo for the second time since 2010.

This was Europe’s largest public online award, with approximately 162,000 users from eight European countries taking part, and users were offered a choice of 351 models across ten vehicle categories.

The prize was awarded at an evening ceremony at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show this week to the product line director of the Panamera, Dr. Gernot Döllner. Porsche’s über luxury four door Gran Turismo gives drivers the best of both worlds, as you have the ideal combination of sportiness and practicality, as well as a unique driving experience in the fastest four door car Porsche has ever produced.

The new Porsche Panamera range offers a variety of engine variants to choose from, whether you are looking for an economical and fuel-efficient diesel and full-hybrid version, which can even be driven on purely electric power as and when required, or the sporty S, GTS, Turbo or Turbo S models. The six-cylinder engine power range extends from 250hp to 550hp.
