  • Aston Martin Vantage GTE sees podium finish at World Endurance Championship

The esteemed British manufacturer of luxury cars Aston Martin saw their race team take the Vantage GTE to the new FIA World Endurance Championship at the Sebring Race Circuit in the USA and score a podium finish earlier this month.

This was tremendous result for the team on their first outing as they were competing in the new FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) series. The race saw the Aston Martin Vantage GTE complete the punishing 292 lap race, which covers over 1000 miles. The Vantage GTE finished in 3rd position in class and 10th of the combined WEC & the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) GTE Pro competitors.

The team will be taking their race Vantage GTE will be at the American Le Mans Series round at Long Beach in California, on the April 13 – 14.
