Aston Martin have unveiled the design vision and styling revamps for their 2012 range of luxury cars at the Geneva Motor Show, which focuses primarily on the new Vantage range.

Aston Martin has described this as the biggest overhaul in the range since 2008. The entry level Aston Martin Vantage will feature a 420bhp V8 engine, with a number of other upgrades first seen on the Vantage S model; including bigger brakes, wider tyres and quicker steering, for an overall increase in feedback and agility.

The new Aston Martin seven-speed Sportshift II automated manual transmission is now also offered on the Vantage S. The braking has been enhanced at the front, with new 380mm, two-piece ventilated cast iron front discs and six-piston callipers.

The new Vantage S will also receive a new sports exhaust, a motorsport-inspired carbon fibre detailing, a special aerodynamic styling package and a more luxuriously trimmed, hand-stitched leather interior.
