Aston Martin Rapide Wins Swiss Best Luxury Car Award

Aston Martin, the Newport Pagnell based luxury sports car manufacturer, has received a prestigious award for their Rapide, which had been voted as the winner of the ‘Best Cars 2012′ poll by the readership of Auto Illustrierte in Switzerland.

The four door Rapide prevailed against a strong field of luxury car competitors, and this year saw it receiving 26.9 percent of the readers’ votes, which was more than any other winner in all classes.

The award is confirmation of the supreme craftsmanship, technical design and prestigious luxury that comes with the Aston Martin Rapide. This is not the first time the Rapide has been in the winner’s spotlight, as December 2011 saw the esteemed manufacturer of luxury cars pick up a similar award from a German auto magazine.
