Aston Martin on Ice 2012 in Switzerland

Aston Martin welcomed a record number of participants for ‘Aston Martin on Ice’ this week at the chic ski resort of St. Moritz in Switzerland. This is the fourth year that Aston Martin has taken their range of luxury cars to this snow covered region of the Alps for the special event.

This year, the Aston Martin on Ice event has been a sell out and has seen a record number of participants, who have travelled from all over the world to attend; some of the countries from which the entrants hail include the USA, Canada, South Africa and, for the first time, China.

Over ten days, all participants will be joining in the onboard challenge of high dynamic driving on a specially prepared ice field in St. Moritz, Samedan. 16 models from the current Aston Martin range, including the Carbon Edition, the Virage and the V8 Vantage S, V8 Vantage and V12 Vantage, are all available to the event’s participants to improve their winter driving skills and techniques at this beautiful, snow covered alpine resort.
