The Porsche 911 Turbo S has long been considered Porsche’s flagship production model and with the second generation of the 991 Series adopting turbochargers throughout its range Porsche decided in order to give the Turbo S it’s very own identity it was to make sure the performance of the latest version was truly mind-blowing but crucially without any of the compromises of it’s more track orientated RS cars. With more power than before thanks to modified inlet ports and a revised high-pressure fuel injection system, the 991.2 Turbo S possesses quicker acceleration than the 918 Spyder and 20bhp more than the previous Turbo S.
There are numerous other enhancements over the Gen 1 version including styling revisions, an updated infotainment system, a new dynamic boost function which reduces lag and improves throttle response and perhaps most noticeably there is a new rotary driving mode controller on the steering wheel. Despite all of this, the very essence of the car remains the same, it’s brilliant all-wheel drive system, 2+2 seating, ruthless performance and market leading driver comfort and convenience ensures this is the ultimate all-rounder and in Cabriolet form it's a recipe for one of the very best everyday drop-top supercars that money can buy.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY
- The Turbo, and in particular, the Turbo S, is at the top of its game. If you want a sub-supercar that’ll take abuse 365 days a year, it chooses itself.
- Instead it feels - you've guessed it - like a jolly fast and thoroughly well engineered sports car, from the weight of the pedals to the thunk of the doors.
- The red hot drop top that never loses its cool. Unlike a Ferrari or Lamborghini, this is not an intimidating car to drive quickly.
