Model Overview
The 992 GT3 was one of the most anticipated cars of 2021, and it didn’t disappoint — lapping the Nürburgring 17 seconds faster than its 991 predecessor. Key to this leap is aero: the new swan-neck rear wing generates up to four times more downforce than before, while the performance setting doubles it again for track use.
At the front, a race-inspired double wishbone suspension (lifted from the 911 RSR) and wider track give sharper steering and more grip through corners. Power comes from the 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six, now with individual throttle bodies for even faster response, revving to a spine-tingling 9,000rpm.
Inside, the 992 cabin blends everyday usability with motorsport focus, making the GT3 as rewarding on the road as it is devastatingly effective on track.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY
- It is quite simply one of the finest blends of road and race car we've tested.
- It's more apparent than ever that the 911 GT3 is part of a famous motorsport bloodline. Another phenomenal car.
- The PDK gearbox shifts as swiftly and crisply as ever in both manual and automatic modes, and in Track it downshifts so promptly in auto that you can leave it to its own devices as you learn a new circuit without ever being caught in the wrong gear at the wrong time.
