Romans once again took to the track last week for our annual Goodwood Track Day at – you guessed it – Goodwood Motor Circuit. The event saw Romans customers and performance car owners take their cars to the limit, and really allowed owners to get to know their cars for what they were truly built for. With high-speed, swooping bends amongst tight chicanes and spine-tingling straights it was the perfect way for drivers to learn the quickest lines and improve their times, in anything from Golf R32s to McLaren 675LTs.

The day started with the cars gathering in the paddock, where we saw some stunning cars arrive to either be displayed throughout the day, or to go through noise testing, ready to hit the track. We also brought some of our own stock along, including our beautiful MSO Lantana Purple McLaren 675LT, Giallo Tripio Strato Ferrari F8 Tributo, Porsche 918 Spyder and the ultra-rare Tiffany Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. We displayed all four cars at the front of the pavilion for attendees to have a good look while making their way around the site.

After a fantastic morning of track sessions, we gathered cars onto the start line for a quick photoshoot and filming session, highlighting just how many incredible cars were in attendance on the day. We then took all the cars around the track for a parade lap, which allowed spectators to see the cars in all their glory.

Once the parade lap was complete and all cars were back to be displayed in the paddock, the afternoon sessions started. Cars were once again able to be pushed to the max, which included instructor sessions in either a Mini JCW or a BMW M4, which were provided to attendees who fancied learning the track without burning through their precious tyres, brakes and fuel. These sessions also allowed anyone who planned to take their own car on track to really learn the best lines and get the most out of each lap.

Overall, the event was a huge success, and we’d like to thank everyone who came down to spectate, display a car or get on track. We’re looking forward to seeing even more of you at our future events.
