Model Overview
The Alfa Romeo 8C was first presented as a concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2003 and was later offered for sale in 2007. The Alfa Romeo 8C was available in two variants, the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione (coupe) and the Alfa Romeo 8C Spider, both of which were limited to just 500 examples worldwide. The 8C name, refers to its eight-cylinder engine which produces 444 bhp and 347lb ft torque and is capable of launching the car from 0 to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 181 mph.
The engine is borrowed straight from the Maserati/Ferrari family of V8’s giving the Alfa 8C it’s trademark raucous exhaust note. A limited slip differential, paddle shift 6-speed gearbox and Brembo carbon ceramic brakes on the Spider all add to the 8C’s supercar credentials, offering the complete package. The Alfa Romeo 8C price has risen steadily over the past few years as the beauty, rarity and collectability of these exquisite cars has become apparent.
