The hot hatch in the Audi RS range now belongs to the RS3. A spiritual successor to the RS2 Avant from the 1990s this 5-door Sportback car is the perfect blend of practicality and performance. The superb 5 cylinder turbo charged engine has been taken from the TT RS and produces 330bhp with a blistering 0-62 time of 4.6s and this supreme performance is very much a theme of the car. In fact the acceleration times are only a fraction less than the Audi R8 V10 creating overtaking opportunities you didn’t even think existed.
Aside from having such a potent engine the Audi RS3 also comes with the widely praised Quattro 4-Wheel-Drive system, which helps provide fantastic all weather performance making it a great, all year round car. The ‘S-Tronic’ dual clutch transmission ensures shifting gears are smooth and quick and make city driving a breeze. There is a sport button which increases throttle response and very strong brakes to add.
There is a fantastic selection of Audi RS features and technology that comes standard with the car as with all of the ever-expanding RS range which now includes the TT RS, RS4 Avant, RS5, RS6 Avant, RS7 and most recently the Q3RS. The Audi RS-range has always been a personal favourite of Romans and the Jaconelli family in particular and we are always in the market for buying and selling this great range of performance cars.
Audi haven’t produced the RS3 in mass numbers either with only a limited number of cars for sale which helps with residuals and depreciation.
