Rolls Royce say the Black Badge offers a darker alter ego to their models. It's a Ghost with a touch more driver focus and menace. Chrome surfaces such as the front grille surround, boot lid finisher, lower air inlet finisher and exhaust pipes now feature a high gloss dark finish. The silver Spirit of Ecstasy and iconic Double R badge have been given a rich dark appearance, instantly setting this car apart from a standard Ghost.
Bespoke features of the Black Badge include the 21” Carbon Fibre and bonded aluminium wheels, which took 4 years to develop and hone. The interior features a stunning display of aircraft grade aluminium threaded carbon fibre unique to the black badge series. An infinity symbol embellishes the feature clock and centre of the rear seating. The engine has also been uprated to produce an extra 40hp and 60Nm of torque over and above the standard Ghost.
The Rolls Royce Ghost was given an overhaul for the 2015 model year as part of the Series II update. This included new front bumpers, LED headlights, vast improvements to the ride control and stability with further upgrades to the interior comfort and the latest technology. The Rolls Royce Ghost remains one of the ultimate luxury cars and the subtler and more manageable alternative to the much larger Phantom. A car that appeals to those that like to drive and those that like to be driven, the Rolls Royce Ghost is sure to add a further sense of class, style and comfort to any affluent lifestyle.
