The body structure itself has not changed all that much and thus the G-Wagen has kept it’s iconic and instantly recognisable retro boxy shape. Arguably tougher and more resilient than the American and the UK equivalents the Jeep and the Land Rover, the G-Wagon shows true off-roading pedigree with it’s low range setting, sequentially locking differentials and long suspension travel. The AMG Edition 463 is so named due to ‘463’ being the internal Mercedes model code for the G-Class, don’t worry Mercedes have not decided to detune the G63 Bi-Turbo V8, it still kicks out monstrous power and torque figures at 563bhp and 561 lb/ft. The Edition 463 packs features a host of driver comfort, convenience and styling upgrades over the standard G63 including; Quilted Designo Leather Interior, Entertainment Package and AMG sports stripes along sides. On top of this noteworthy features from the AMG G63 include; AMG exterior styling package, AMG chrome side-exit sports exhausts and AMG red brake calipers.
