The John Cooper Works Challenge is limited to a total of 53 cars. With parts and components borrowed from the actual Mini Challenge race car, the implication that the product will be a focused and refined for the track. After a short time behind the wheel, you will soon feel the DNA of the Challenge race car. Its handling dynamics are reminiscent of the Mini GP which is one of the most track focused road cars on the market. Adjustable suspension, Team Dynamics wheels wrapped in Cup 2’s and huge brakes go to show the extent at which mini have gone to in order to maximise the exhilarating and thoroughly enjoyable driving experience. The tyres are the same kind that you will find on track monsters such as the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The characterful 2.0L turbocharged engine is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox, where with the JCW Bluetooth exhaust valve open, the sound emitted provides some serious drama.
