The new Defender was arguably the most anticipated car of 2020, bringing the Defender into the modern era by applying the latest technology available from Land Rover. This time the engine is producing a plentiful 518hp along with a healthy serving of 625Nm of torque. All of this results in some scarcely believable performance figures for a 2.5-ton behemoth of a car. In order to reign all this extra grunt in Land Rover have kindly fitted the V8 with uprated suspension, beefier brakes and an all-new electronic differential and traction control program.
