The Speed variant of the Bentley Continental range as the name suggests is a more powerful version of the standard Continental GT. It first arrived for sale at the end of 2007 for the 2008 model year and quickly became the model to buy if you were considering a Bentley.
After both the Continental GT and Flying Spur models received the Speed variant it was only a matter of time before there was a Continental GTC Speed and it arrived in 2009 as the world's fastest 4 seater convertible. With an extra 50bhp over the standard GTC and extra torque meant performance figures were even more impressive smashing the 200mph barrier! Other changes include a discreet rear spoiler improving the handling, rifled exhaust pipes producing a truly marvellous sountrack, lowered suspension and multi-spoke unique 20" alloys amongst other subtle styling differences.
The GT Speed is now in it's second generation and is currently the range-topping coupe in Bentley's range with the new GT Speed convertible equally impressive.
